Operating since 2020, Prosper Occupational Therapy began by Paediatric OT Gabby Mahoney and her husband Jake Mahoney as a means to support children and their families to prosper and grow in their daily lives.
During that time, Gab and Jake celebrated the births of their 3 children and learned first hand about the mental load and pressures of parenthood. Using this experience, alongside the knowledge of working with children over the last 7 years+, has aided our ability to empathise with parents and implement strategies that consider these challenges.
We look forward to getting to know you and your child in order to holistically support them to prosper to their full potential.
We take a person centred and strength based approach to occupational therapy, addressing what is most meaningful and motivating for your child and family. Our goal is to help your child achieve their goals and maximize their potential, while also promoting overall health and wellness.
We are a Neuroaffirming practice where we believe that Neurodivergent individuals aren't to be "fixed" but rather their differences need to be celebrated and supported.
